To enhance customer protection and comfort in insurance relationships, an Agreement on Insurance Mediation was concluded between the non-commercial/non-profit legal entity Georgian Insurance Companies Association (Georgian Insurance Association) and insurance companies. This agreement aims to facilitate the out-of-court resolution of disputes or disagreements arising between the insured persons and insurance companies in all types of insurance, allowing the parties to reach a settlement.

The Insurance Mediation of the Georgian Insurance Association began receiving applications on April 1, 2015.
