Aldagi BCI Introduces Report on 2010 Performance

Aldagi BCI insurance company has introduced a report on the 2010 performance. Aldagi BCI director general Nikoloz Gamkrelidze told a news conference at the Tbilisi Marriott hotel, the year of 2010 was successful and quite interesting as the company has marked a financial success and launched several new projects, which will be continued in 2011 too.
Aldagi BCI generated insurance premium worth 69 753 730 GEL and paid claims of 33 147 804 GEL throughout 2010. The ratio of the health insurance package in total insurance portfolio is over 50 percent. 204 thousand beneficiaries use Aldagi BCI health insurance policies. Over 91 000 beneficiaries have received various medical services only as part of state projects.
The company has generated premium worth 29 350 829 GEL as part of the health insurance portfolio and paid claims worth 25 794 882 GEL.
The automobile insurance portfolio ranks second, the property insurance is third in terms of generated premium and paid claims.
Aldagi BCI has insured 250 thousand individuals and about 3 000 corporate beneficiaries.
“I am happy our company remains the market’s leader for 20 years. We are leaders in all directions – profitability, revenues, paying claims, number of products and so on. Our goal is to maintain this leading position in the insurance sector”, Nikoloz Gamkrelidze noted.
In 2010 Aldagi BCI unveiled a new-style service center, which offers all insurance packages, including paying claims in the health, automobile, property and other insurance packages.
At the end of 2010 Aldagi BCI in collaboration with Tbilisi City Hall introduced a large-scale employment program, under which all interested young persons are able to attend free of charge three-month trading courses in insurance activities and be employed at Aldagi BCI.
“The program has drawn much interest. At this stage over 200 young individuals have been already interviewed and we have already selected over 80 of them for the training course.
We have already employed 50 citizens since the project inauguration. We plan to have employed about 500 citizens at the end of 2011”,Gamkrelidze noted.
“As to the future plans, at the beginning of 2011 the company will introduce a unique health insurance product, which is designed to individuals and is affordable to any social strata.
The health insurance product will include almost all the spectrum of medical services. The rise in access to similar products will foster tackling social and economic problems. Improving the service quality remains a main strategy of our company.
In the near future we will open a new branch of My Family clinic with ultramodern equipment and professional staff”, Gamkrelidze noted.
