GPI Holding presented Gurjaani hospital project

Insurance Company GPI Holding gave a presentation of Gurjaani hospital. The project is implemented in the scope of State Hospital Infrastructure Development program. The modern hospital will serve 70 beds and provide with highest quality medical care.
Turkish company “Umut Insaat” conducted planning and building process of the hospital.
One of the leading construction companies in the region “Umut Insaat” has a rich experience in implementation of several major medical projects, among them 300 bed Acibadem medical center in Eskişehir.
George Kvirikadze, General Director of GPI Holding:"Collaboration with experienced foreign company during the implementation of this large scale project is of crucial importance for us.
Turkish experts have been involved in planning and designing process of the project and will be supervising the construction process as well."
The project was presented to the public on Fabruary 14, at the Redison Blu Iveria hotel.
Presentation was conducted by General Director of GPI Holding and representatives of Turkish Company.
George Kvirikadze, General Director of GPI Holding:”Multifunctional medical center will provide patients with full package of medical care, including inpatient and outpatient services. However the main prerequisite to this will be recruiting qualified personal and medical staff.
We will be cooperating intensively with the local professionals and will develop a system of regular training and improvement of qualification.”
In terms of making medical care services accessible for the people, the company plans to broaden the medical insurance activities as well as involving more people in the insurance scheme.
Since 2006 GPI holding has been actively involved in social insurance projects. Today more than 200,000 people across the country are using GPI Holding’s health insurance policies. During the last four years GEL 50 mln was reimbursed only in the line of social insurance.
GPI holding is constructing 10 hospitals in the regions, in total 225 beds. The process of construction and reconstruction of hospitals is in progress and will take no more than 1 year.
